Electronic Poker is a favored game that can be wagered on in casinos all over the globe, or in your house on your home computer, through a net account. The rules are very straightforward and involve the player attempting to get the greatest combination of cards possible in order to acquire money. On this account it is much the same as a regular game of poker, apart from the interaction with competing players. Of course, methods used in a physical game of poker, like bluffing, will be irrelevant in Video Poker.

The game of Electronic Poker starts when the bettor puts credits (whether it’s tokens, tickets or money) into the video poker machine and presses the draw button. A hand of five cards will then be electronically ‘dealt’ on the video screen.

The Electronic Poker game also has buttons with ‘hold’ printed on them, and gamblers will need to now pick which cards to hold and which to discard. For the cards the bettor would like to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons should be pressed so that they light up. The player can choose to keep any number of cards they want, from all to none.

After the gambler has chosen which cards she wishes to retain, the player will then press ‘draw’, which will mean that any new cards are needed they will be given out. The game is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it is the same as any of the winning hands listed in the pay out schedule.

Normally, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money increasing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands begins with jacks or better, moving on to two pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It is obvious that the pay out schedule can change from game to game, so that skillful enthusiasts are agile enough to choose the most beneficial game every time.

Once the initial round has finished, the player can either choose to stay on and try to to maximize their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that have been won. Additionally, several versions of the game give the player a chance to double their wins, in which case another round is played. There are also differences among specific games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
